Eligible applicants include: Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status, public and state institutions of higher education, nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status, for-profit organizations, and individuals. The grant is open to a wide range of applicants, but they must be capable of conducting research in Kenya and partnering with the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI).
